APCER Life Sciences

APCER Life Sciences is part of the APC Group, a global provider of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) with an unblemished reputation for quality and support around the world.

APC was founded in 1987 in Hong Kong by APCER’s Chairman, Ravi Menon. The company grew rapidly by developing markets in India, China, and South East Asia for APIs and finished formulations produced by Western pharmaceutical manufacturers. Offices were added in Mumbai and Shanghai to satisfy the needs of both sellers and buyers.

As Asian manufacturers increased the quality of their products, APC Group was well positioned to provide APIs and finished formulations from India and China to the West and opened additional offices in Vietnam and Kazakhstan. APC also opened an office in Boston, MA, US, to provide regulatory, product selection, and consulting services to help its customers bridge the gap between China/India and the United States.

To respond to the increase in regulatory requirements around drug safety, APC expanded its services business with the formation of APCER Pharma Europe in 2007, headed by Dr. Vineet Kacker. The success of the business model and continued growth led to the establishment of APCER Pharma Solutions in the US.
